Medical Writer
Opportunity for remote home working
We are looking for an individual who will be able to provide high quality written materials, manuscripts, abstracts, regulatory materials, reviews, meeting reports and educational/scientific/promotional materials for our clients within the healthcare industry.
- Educated to degree level in life sciences. PhD preferred but not essential
- A sound understanding of scientific principles is required Must be able to write concisely and clearly, with attention to detail
- Spoken communication skills must be extremely high
- Good interpersonal skills with clients is necessary
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to self manage are a must
- The ability to quickly understand and familiarise yourself with new therapeutic areas is important
- Experience in endocrine, cardiovascular and oncology areas would be an advantage although not crucial
- The ability to adhere to timelines is essential
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to search Database’s is necessary
- At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare or medical communications area is desirable
- A flexible attitude towards projects is key
